Why doesnt anybody post here? Everybody is over at the FutureOD site I guess? And I guess opt is a pretty small profession?
Anyways, I agree that cpw should be the moderator.

I'm actually going to become an osteopathic medical student starting this fall.

I just wanted to support my fellow health care professionals!!! Showin' much love from the osteopathic side to the optometry side!!! PEACE!!!

So, you bring up a good question....

WHY do people choose optometry over the other health professional field?

For those of you in this forum, care to share your thoughts on a different trend or continue on to this one?

I could probably moderate if it doesn't involve a TON of time. (since like the others I'm going to be VERY busy starting in the fall) Unlike the glutton of time I have right now.

Does anyone know who I'd write to about moderating the OD forum?

I agree most everyone seems to be over at futureoptometrist.com.. but even then there's just a core group of like ten of us that post. (i'm over there too) :D

As for why Optometry? I think I'll start another thread on the topic.

And, welcome abs1! It's good to see I'm not the ONLY person. Now, WE have our own forum! ;)

Geez..Is there anyone else on here from UAB??? Hmm. The other site has gotten so slow recently..must all be studying for finals. Thank God mine are over. Anyway. I am a 1st year at UABSO. I guess I will therefore shortly be a second year...yeah!. Oh wait..it only gets harder. Love your first year because it is actually not too bad. It is really kind of cool. You learn so much(too much sometimes) about your classmates. I am almost sad the good times are over..onto clinics. eyeguy

welcome to SDN eyeguy! Yes, futureoptom. is gettin' kinda slow this summer. While at the same time SDN perks up in the summer because everyone's off school.

We're a small forum at the moment.. but I'm going to tell my entering class about SDN.. and I'm sure abs1 will tell PCO's class of 2005. ;) (plug plug)
