Thanks cpw, eyeguy and jubileee for all your help. I have yet another question..I'm trying to decide on the seventh school to apply to. If any of you would know which of these schools are private as opposed to state school- Indiana University, Northeastern State University, Illinois college, Southern College of optometry and Pacific University? Thanks everyone!!
I BELIEVE SCO, ICO, and Pacific are ALL private. I think IU and Northeastern are public.. but I'm not too sure about northeastern. Seven schools? damn girl! Go get 'em! :)

awww shucks. :o I was just in your shoes last year. :) Gotta know who's going to require me to shell out the most cash.
Here's the break down as I looked it up online.
PRIVATE COLLEGES OF OPTOMETRY
NOVA Southeastern (FL)
New England College of Optometry
Illinois College of Optometry
Southern California College of Optometry
Pacific University College of Optometry
Southern College of Optometry
PUBLIC Schools of Optometry (correct me if any of these are wrong)
University of Houston College of Optometry (whoo hoo!)
State University of New York
Pennsylvania College of Optometry
Ohio State University College of Optometry
Indiana University School of Optometry
Northeastern Oklahoma School of Optometry
University of California-Berkeley School of Optometry
University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry
Missouri --St. Louis College of Optometry
Michigan -- Ferris State University College of Optometry
Hope I got all of 'em. Correct me if any of them are wrong. I'm not sure about PCO. Their page wouldn't load for me. :)
Good luck to everyone applying for next year!

Of course as far as cost goes, most of the state schools are just as expensive as private unless you qualify for instate tuition....
