I am heading to the Moran Eye Center for a rotation next week as a 3rd year since I'm at a DO school. No time to do electives, get LORs etc till after the application deadline in Sept. Anyway, who would be the best person to get a LOR from at this program? I'm sure I won't have my choice of attendings to work with, so a couple names would be great. Thanks.

Most people who rotate at Moran are set up to rotate primarily with two attendings during the month, and that's usually set up by the department. There are a lot of well known people there, and there's a good chance you'll rotate with someone with a relatively big name. Randy Olson (Chair), Nick Mamalis (PD), Alan Crandall (VC, Glaucoma director), Paul Bernstein (Retina), Kathleen Digre (neuro-oph), David Apple (path) are a few of the well known people. There are numerous others also.
