So as I understand...the ACGME certifies programs based on meeting requirements. Min of 1 year to max of 5 years. How much does it mean that a program always gets 5 year certifications compared to others who dont get them as often or never. How do you translate certification history/duration ?

When a program continusously gets 5 year cycles..does it mean it's a great program?

Or, how about when a program is constantly getting 1 year cycles, does it mean it's a program that can lose it's accredidation any day.....
