i just got my scores back from the free kaplan test that they offer at their centers and at schools around the country. I'm wondering how closely this test mimics the real thing. So if there is anyone on the forums who have taken those before, it would be greatly appreciated if you weighed in.

This was my first practice test and took it without studying at all. I would just like to know if i'm starting off in a good position

I would have to say there is no way to go but up (with studying that is). You're off to a good start just look at what you did wrong and look at the point values, and study the parts where you got the lowest scores.

i had similiar scores on my first kaplan exam and i ended up getting 20+ on every section.
