I've been making my own notes of the Kaplan Blue Book on Word, and they all just got corrupted. I was so dumb not to back them up... now I have to start all over (and I was at the end of orgo).

However, maybe instead of starting all over with the blue book, I should start my Destroyer.

I feel your pain - went through something similar. Now I have been using docs.google.com for all my notes. That way it is available from wherever and no chance of getting corrupt.

I use gmail, but never heard of there document service. That is a great idea, now I can access my notes everywhere.
