I knew A was the answer, but I wonder how B isn't a wrong statement.
When bacteria reproduce by binary fission, their daughter cells (newly reproduced individual bacteria) contain the exactly same DNA material as their parents.
Am I misunderstanding the concept of binary fission?

That is true, but prokaryote dna is a single loop instead of double stranded. So, I believe B should be wrong as well.

i disagree or maybe im just misunderstanding you, but prokaryotic DNA is double stranded and circular. or i might be wrong but im 95% sure
