Just another helpful thread here from your friendly moderator...

I was hoping that we could collect a rough list of where all of you soon-to-be MSTPs are off to next year. That way, when those of us are applying have a question about a particular, we could just consult the list. And it would be nice to see where everybody has finally decided!

I, of course, can't add to this list, because I have yet to get an acceptance, but I'll start it anyway.

Thanks,

Kris.

I spoke with Duke people and they said I can come for the 2nd look whenever I want but that it will be very difficult for them to organize anything extensive and rigorous within the next 2 weeks. Problem is I'm planning to go on vacation in Canada and Europe in ~3 weeks, so I decided to skip the 2nd look all together. I'll try to be ghetto about the whole situation and see if I can ask them to pay my movement to Durham in the fall :D . Duke it is .

Hi Brentwoodboy:

Yup. It was a tough choice but I finally decided to withdraw from Sinai. I think Sinai has a strong program but when it came down to it Mayo had a much better program according to MY interests. There were some people there that I'd really like to work with -- so I guess I'm gonna tough it out in the Mid-West for some time. :D

Hey EVERYONE!

All it gotta says is: YOU GUYS KICK ASS! THIS NEW FORUM IS GREAT!

For the past two weeks I've been in (a self-imposed) isolation writing my honors thesis and finally doing an oral presentation (this past wednesday)...but hurray I'm done!

So I checked SDN yesterday and today, looking for our dear "MSTP Boulevard" thread and couldn't find it. Then today, I finally come across the thread (on the 9th page of the regular forum) where everyone was supporting the idea for a new forum. Anyhow, I'm glad I finally found it!
