Can someone please tell me more about the MD/PhD program at New York Medical College? How long is the program? When do students have to apply for it?, etc. What is required?

or even any other md/phD program info would help because I don't know much about it and I have recently started looking into it.

Entry into NYMC's MD/PhD program is unorthodox - you don't apply to the program until your second year of medical school, after which you have to be admitted to the Basic Sciences school. You pay for your first two years of MD, but the rest comes with a tuition. I imagine that its a bit like the delayed entry programs that other schools have.
