Turns out that I have a family friend on the faculty who was mentored me in high school and summers in college, as well as a high school fellow alum that I know well, a college fellow alum I know well, the faculty members at WashU formerly of UAB, faculty members at UAB from WashU, UAB's mascot as a personal friend, and the sinks in the operating room I'm buddy-buddy with! =].

Orientation begins July 29th, but I'm finishing a summer class that ends literally the day before at WashU.

Best of luck at Duke University; if you're interested in hearts, look the Kirby lab up!
