I would certainly buy destroyer. Destroyer is a study guide that tests your knowledge on a wide array of topics. Every question touches upon at least 3-5 topics that attacks every subject head-on. Its solutions are highly informative.
Because the study guide is formulated into questions and not formatted like any other book it keeps you intrigued and prepared to understand the material and focus on areas you need to work on.
A few weeks before the test I would buy Top score and Achiever. They are good for simulating a similar testing environment under similar conditions.
Best,

Dan

I suggest starting with the Kaplan blue book. Its a basic good all around DAT book with lots of good science review and some practice tests. It is a little bit weak in the biology section so you might want to also use something like schaum's outline of biology or Cliff's AP biology review to get a better review of biology. DAT Destroyer is basically a large set of practice questions with detailed answers which is probably most beneficial after you have a foundation from kaplan. Also, if you want a really good simulation of the actual exam, I would use Topscore Pro - its a set of full length computerized exams.

Kaplan DAT blue book (http://www.amazon.com/dp/1419577913?tag=dentalstudent-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=1419577913&adid=1H9FP3V2HEP6ERQJM44Q&)
DAT Destroyer (http://www.orgoman.com/datdestroyer.html)
Topscore DAT (http://www.amazon.com/dp/0967275709?tag=dentalstudent-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=0967275709&adid=063MG4FAHZP7EWY09VQ0&)

If you have enough time go through the following books:

Essential:
Kaplan Blue Book
Cliff's AP Bio
DAT Destroyer
Barron's (for PAT only)

Recommended for weak areas:
Princeton Review AP Chem
Campbell's Biology

Essential Software:
Topscore
DAT Achiever

good luck, jb!:)

I would strongly recommend not putting your apples all in one basket. With that said you should have many resources for this exam. For one the DAT Destroyer is great at explaining the wrong and right answers. Another one is the Achiever and Top score which is great since it is a computer software and you could use it to practice as if you are taking the exam. One more thing, practice!practice!and practice for the PAT section. For bio i personally am using the blue book and my college textbook for reference. Always have a reference when studying off a review book. Good luck.

I would use topscore, achiever and Destroyer. Topscore and achiever are good for PAT, but the Destroyer challenges you in the sciences and it has great explantions.

What's the best place to get Achiever?

I obtained Kaplan and Barron's books, and the Destroyer. But don't know where would be the best place to get Achiever?

The website for Achiever is below:

Yes I would go with Destroyer and Odyssey for the sciences and Achiever with Topscore for the PAT. If you have the money you can invest into exam crackers just for the problems set. The more practice you get, the better.
Good luck.
