How do you know that when looking at the endview that it has a perpendicular edge? I don't see that at all. It looks like both sides are at an angle.

If you would imagine a line drawn parallel to the other side (see attachment), you can easily tell that the opposite side is a perpendicular edge when projecting from the right end. :)
