hey guys,

i know achiever is said to be more difficult than the real DAT, but i'm still super dissappointed with my scores. They are:

AA: 17
PAT: 14 (oh dear god :()
QR: 15
Reading: 22 (wish I got that on every section, ha)
Biology: 17
Gen Chem: 14 :(
OChem: 15
TS: 16

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had mediocre TS scores on at least two of my achiever tests and ended up with 99.X% AA&TS scores. Make sure you understand what you got wrong and most importantly, WHY. I wrote down every problem from every test I took and the proper explanation, which helped me, at least.

Great post - the purpose of the practice test is just as much to identify your weak areas to focus your study as it is to simulate the questions and judge your potential scores on the real thing. Just think of this as an opportunity to raise your scores a lot :)

Good luck

I hate general chemistry, I seriously think it is worse than biology.

Cheer up! My first Achiever scores were also low (GChem 12, Bio 16, OChem 17) and now I'm getting at least 19s in each section! Get more motivated, you can do it!

Hey phungy,

Did you start with the Achiever Test 1..or did you start with the hardest? I started with Test 1 so I was just wondering..Thanks for your encouraging words!

Test 1.

I'll be taking Test 3 tomorrow. I heard that my scores may actually drop though since Test 3 is the toughest.
