From what I understand, once someone has topscore activated for their computer, it will not work on another computer.

yup. even if you get a burnt CD of topscore, you need to buy it for the license key.

there's no way around it.. just pay the $50 and get it...look at it as only paying $16.6 per test which isn't too much

If you want to get the best bang for your buck....the hell w/ topscore.

Get achiever and don't look back.

I agree that achiever is great, but I felt that topscore was the best representation of the actual DAT test difficulty and conditions. I think it is worth 50 bucks considering the monumental cost of applying, interviewing, and dental school

Although I don't have experience with Achiever, I'd say for the PAT and the sciences, Topscore was a very good representation of the real DAT. I scored exactly the same on the PAT and about 1-2 points higher on all the science on the real DAT
