hello I will be starting medical school at the univ. of south alabama (in mobile alabama) and I am lost about where to look for housing.

can anyone give any reccomendations.

Also I was looking for a roomate to share a 2 bed 2 ba with if anyone is interested.

Are you looking for an apartment or a house? I'm going to assume you're looking for an apartment, if so here are a few links to get you started

http://www.mobileapartmentguide.com/ ... this website doesn't contain ALLLL of the apartments in Mobile, but it has quite a few... I would suggest, if you're not in Mobile right now, to order the free apartment guide because it would contain alot more apartments.....

As far as areas to stay in, there are alot of apartments on Airport Blvd and on Grelot Rd just off of University like Regency Gates, etc.

I've heard of some students renting houses in Country Club Village just off of Old Shell which is really close to USA.

I would just open up google map, put in USA's address and put in the addresses of potential apartment complexes to see how far it is from the school and take it from there.

Does USA still own all of the housing in the neighborhood behind the Greek housing? I used to live there during school. Not incredibly nice, but close and cheap.
