It's getting exciting. I must take Amsie's approach and sleep 4-5 hours a night for the next 3 weeks, except for test day. I am going over O chem trends now and looking back over some of the human systems in biology.

I will start taking all of the Achiever, TopScore tests soon, after I finish the Destroyer.

So, I'm going to start brushing up on math, reading comp, and PAT now as well. I need positive words of encouragement. Anything positive.... ex. "I hope you do well BIOCMP" or "it will all be worth it BIOCMP" or "You suck BIOCMP" anything along those lines really helps to boost the moral... so please fire away....

ROTFL. Those were fun times:laugh:

Just make sure youre good on conceptual chem stuff,destroyer roadmaps and theory, and everything youve been getting wrong in bio. Make sure you know your trig formulas(easy points) and conversions and stuff. And practice word problems.

PS:I'd tell jokes, but all the jokes I know are ones that make fun of Indian people--you'd sort of have to be Indian too to understand, so I'm useless in the jokes dept. Lo siento :/

3 weeks is plenty of time. Plenty.

Sit down and get through as much of destroyer today as possible. Just chug and chug through it while reviewing everything you get wrong. Force yourself to review what you don't understand. This is hardest because we don't like to look at stuff we don't know.

But you have time. So you should feel ahead of the curve. now stay focused and don't fall behind.

I suck at buffering and must study that now. good luck bud

When you study, think about why things are happening that way. I guess try to see the big picture, then things will be seem easier for you. The DAT trend seems to rely more on conceptual stuff than memorizing details or doing calculations. I think that's a good advice i can give you from my DAT experience. Good luck!

I wish you all the best biocmp. I hope you're smart, because I want a competitor here. We'll make a wager, highest AA/TS/PAT, all 3 added together, winner takes all. All = salute and congratulations from 2nd place (read: loser).

If you accept, I know this will keep me competitive and studying. My exam is at 8AM on Aug 23rd. With a competition mindset, we should be really grindin hard. So in the end, we both win. Assuming we both do well, I don't think losing this would be a stab in my side since I am probably only applying to Texas public schools.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I caught the apathy bug, so yeah, I feel you on that. I'll tell poc91 or someone to make a poll, we'll let the SDN goons pick a side, and we'll see what happens. Things seem to be on track for that high score, but if I get a get a 13, go easy on me ;)

I would start by getting more sleep... believe me, those extra 2 hours you might be getting by only sleeping 4 hours a night are going to be eaten up anyway when you're too tired to keep studying! It sounds like you might be headed for burn out (I just had one and have to postpone)... so just take it one day at a time, don't use TOO many study materials at once, and make sure you understand the big picture in addition to details. And try to sleep, eat and exercise normally so your brain is functioning properly! I'm sure you'll be great. Good luck!!

thanks for the advice. I was being slightly facetious about my sleeping pattern from here on out. I will actually be getting 7-8 hours, I was just implying I am kicking it up another gear.
