wat up with ppl say that they are pretty much the same.
how does the other section compare to kaplan?
Simplystressed 08-23-2007, 05:43 PM yes this was my first attempt at the real DAT
Physics Guy1421 08-23-2007, 05:46 PM Your sciences are pretty solid, I'd still consider applying, but its prolly best to check with your pre-health advisor.
Simplystressed - did you take the DAT in Utica? IF so ow was the center?
jigabodo 08-23-2007, 05:48 PM You havent applied to AADSAS? If so, thats good news. I would suggest take a break for now, then in a couple of months just hit the books hard again.
You can probably take it next year again after suffiencient amount of study, kill it, then apply for the 2008 cycle.
predentlsu1 08-23-2007, 05:52 PM Then you have nothin to be ashamed of......the DAT is a tough test period. For your first time those are pretty good scores. Go ahead and apply.....but being completely honest your scores are kinda on the low end. Just keep at it.....you now have a good foundation to build on and know what is expected. I have been right where you are at....and no its not a fun place to be....but keep your head up things will only get better.

yes...not bad at all...they give you 2 laminated sheets, kinda fat markers but its okay i just erased after every problem....you are in a glass room....
Nervousfreak 08-23-2007, 06:09 PM How come most of you guys have so high GPA? I'm mean above a 3 to me is high. Mine is about 2.822, Science, around 2.45 or so. This DAT is like my only chance, and if I score over a 20, do you guys think I have any chance at all? I'm scare since the GPAs I found in here are really high. Please let me know what you guys think, thanks.
I think you should apply now and retake in December. Hopefully you can get your application completed and sent out, ect. by the time you take the DAT and then just fax your scores. I think it is worth trying. If you aren't hard pressed on going this year, then just apply to your state school and a couple others and see what happens.:)
Toothy2012 08-23-2007, 07:37 PM If you have the money I think it's worth a shot, your scores arn't that terrible and your GPA is pretty good. Just don't go into it with your hopes too high, but give it a shot...What were your kaplan scores like, if you don't mind me asking?
small 08-23-2007, 08:39 PM apply if you have the coin, but take the DAT again for sure. check with the schools to which you wish to apply about cutoffs (minimum acceptable scores), as some schools might have them.
