just wanna make sure i'm understanding it right cuz i feel like i'm losing sight of the basics with test so near

ionic > covalent

types of covalent
polar > nonpolar > coordniate covalent ?

covalent > hydrogen > other dipole dipole (that aren't Hydrong bonds) > dispersion forces

i think covalent bond is stronger than ionic bond if i remember correctly. someone can double check.

Covalent and ionic are pretty much equal unless in an aqueous solution. Covalent is stronger in solution.

http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/chem03/chem03623.htm is a similar kind of question... the conclusion seems to be that it's difficult to generalize; you can't say that ALL covalent bonds are stronger than ALL ionic bonds or vice versa.

I think the last order you have is ok though.

I agree; this is pretty much the best generalization you can make.

NETWORK covelt is the strongest of all !!!!! if you wanna example, think about a doimond, it is bounded in a covalent network fashion.

and yes, regular covalent and ionic is about the same !!
