liters to gallons?
ounces to liters?
INCHES TO FEET?!?!?!?!
kidding aside, do I really have to know this stuff or am I wasting my time memorizing it? Achiever and TopScore sure do use it a lot...

3.79 liters = 1 gallon
since 128 oz = 1 gallon, approximately 30 oz = 1 liter
12 inches = 1 foot
You should definately know these simple conversions because these are one of the simple math problems you will face on the test so you don't want to miss them. Make your list and make sure you know it all before the test. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I would say to know them. It doesn't take too long to memorize, and it might save you some time on the exam.
However, on my exam, I had maybe 3 or 4 conversion problems and on every one, the conversion was given for you. Such as grams to pounds. The gave you the conversion right there.
They also had a temperature conversion and gave you the equation for celsius to fahrenheit right there. I was surprised to see that, and spent a while making sure I had that one memorized.

definetly know them... they wont ask you a specific question directly on the conversions, but they will ask you questions where a conversion will be just a little step to get to the final answer

I had a feet -> miles question on my real DAT. But it was the only one on my QR.
