Is there any info/data/statistics on Fellowships and whether they accept DO IM grads? Do you need to go to an Allo IM program? Do you need to sit the Osteo subspecialty boards if you go to a osteo IM program for residency?
I am OMSIV and currently applying to IM osteo and allo. I am not sure if I want to do a fellowship or not, but, I don't want to rule it out this early on. What would be the most appropriate pathway? Is it really difficult to go to an allo fellowship if you did osteo post grad training?
