For those interested in behavioral sleep medicine and CBT for insomnia, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine is offering tuiton waivers for the 2008 annual meeting.
So far, only a few people have applied for this waiver, and there is a very good chance of getting the waiver if it is applied for.

I hope this opportunity extends to next year.. I'm holding back my just finished abstract an research so I can submit it for next year's meeting.

I don't think the fee waiver is available any more. The behavioral sleep committee of the AASM was dissolved. Check out the web site of the American Board of Sleep Medicine for more info about becoming certified in behavioral sleep medicine.
