Does anyone know how I can get a doctor's job in Delhi or Bombay. I'm a Family Practice (General Practice) Doctor practicing in Los Angeles. I would like to practice in Delhi or Bombay for 6-12 months. I'm having a hard time finding a job out there. Please advise.

I am assuming that you have completed your MD from a US medical school. Since you only want to practice for a short time in India things might be different. I would suggest getting in touch with hospitals in the area you want to be at. There are many hospitals in Delhi and Bombay. You should be able to get in touch with them and arrange for a short tenure. Then there are also some consulting firms who will be happy to place you and take a cut of your wages; however you have to be careful as some can be fraud firms. Without a contract you may not get paid to well but if you only want to experience then it should suffice. Also try to place around Delhi and Bombay, these are not too far from the metropolitan areas but there are many new and large hospital coming up in these areas.
