Many have said on the interview trail, "I wish there was a way to find out where everyone ends up matching." Well someone started a group on Facebook Called "Ophthalmology Match 2008 - Who's coming with me?!?" and this would be a great place for all who match to make a post on the "wall" in the group announcing where they are going (in a setting that is not connected with all the stats on your CV like the post-match poll with-in this forum).
I've met many people I'd love to stay in touch with as well as know where they end up, so if you already have a Facebook profile, then just search for the group called, "Ophthalmology Match 2008 - Who's coming with me?!?" click on "Join this Group," and then make your post on the wall come January 17th. If you are new to Facebook, it's really easy to sign up.
