A question for all you ophthalmologists/ophthalmologists to be.

Just curious. I remember from med school my buddies who were doing GU, ENT, Derm, always talked about needing a certain # of interviews to be pretty certain of matching somewhere in the field.

Does Ophtho have any such magic #?

Does Ophtho have any such magic #?

I've been advised by many that the magic # that almost guarantees a match is 7 interviews.

Remember, however, that matching well will rest heavily on your interviewing skills, work ethic, and personality.
