Has anybody referred to MCAT review books to help with certain areas in the DAT? I thought the Princeton MCAT had a very well detailed biology section compared to the Kaplan DAT biology section.

I'm using Kaplan's MCAT prep material to study for the DAT. I was accepted to medical school(s), decided not to pursue the MD for a number of reasons, and am now committed to pursuing a career in dentistry.

Now I'm studying for the DAT, but didn't want to spend the money on DAT books. The material contained in MCAT prep books is probably (I'm just speculating here) more comprehensive than what you'd find in DAT prep books, but it can't hurt you...

Just make sure you know what exactly is being tested on the DAT, because the format and test content is different than the MCAT.

Hope this helps...
