With 25 test dates to choose from in 2008, figuring out which one is right for you can be a little bit tricky. But the sooner you decide, the better. That way, you can register as early as possible to make sure you get the date/time/location you want.

Kaplan's here to help! Here's how to pick your test date:

Print out the 2008 Test Date calendar (http://www.kaptest.com/Pre-Med/MCAT/Learn-About-the-MCAT/Learn/2008-test-dates.html).
Traditionally, you'd test in April or May in order to get scores back in time to submit your apps as close to opening in June as you can.
Take a look at April and May: cross out the week before, week of and week after finals.
You'll be left with some test dates during the week and some during the weekend. Would you rather take the MCAT during the week or on a Saturday? Cross our which dates don't work for you.
Are you a morning person? The tests are typically either in the morning or early afternoon. Pick which one works best for you! That should leave you with a good idea when to test. Keep in mind, it's really important to talk with your advisor - they can provide a ton of useful information about when they suggest testing and when your peers are testing.
