Does anyone know if interview invites are given out in the order that applications are submitted? I know several people who got interviews from ucsd who submitted thir applications weeks after me. I haven't heard thing from ucsd so I'm assuming the worst--that they will not be inviting me for an interview.

Hi there,
While your application may have downloaded much earlier than your mates, it might be sitting on a desk of someone who is a less efficient reviewer. Don't read anything into timing. It is very early in the process as Deans letters have not gone out yet. Chill and relax.
