I have some questions about Elsevier's integrated series, but I have found limited feedback on it. I would like a series of review books for the USMLE; however, I would like them in "paragraph" format. This series seems good, but I can't find anything that it suggests it was designed for the USMLE. Was this the purpose of this series? Was the series more designed to augment course work, or was it designed to be high yeild for the USMLE? This series seems like it could be a good fit for me, and any insight into this series would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

So sorry for the delay! This series was uniquely designed to help you both learn and review. Some students have told us that they use these books as a supplement to (and sometimes even a replacement for) a big comprehensive textbook. While I can't really advocate subbing an EIS book for a traditional textbook, I do think they're great for a concise guide to the basic sciences you need extra help on. There are case-based questions to make sure you can draw the lines between the sciences -- that's where the integration comes into play -- and you get access to USMLE-style questions with the volumes that include StudentConsult access.

Let me know if it would help you to see some sample pages to aid in your decision-making process. I can post links for you ASAP.
