Could any UGA student out there tell me when they received their acceptance letter and by what route (email first or snail)? I know the rejections come out last week in March but I was curious if the accepts come earlier? Thanks Anxiously waiting....

i heart uga, too! annoying that there is not a peep form them until march. at least with schools that interview you sort of know where you stand in the pool early on. from looking at last year's posts, i think tht acceptances went out between the 2nd and 3rd week in March. good luck. i hate waiting

Yea, I applied last year and got my reject letter that same time so I was hoping the accept ones would go out earlier. I am also curious whether the accept package is just a thin letter (ie like the reject) or do they send out something bigger. That way I will know as I stalk the postman! LOL Thanks for the reply, glad to know I gotta friend/ future classmate (hope) out there checking the posts with me.
ROCK ON UGA..woof woof woof GO BULLDOGS!

I don't remember my acceptance packet, but don't expect any news for quite awhile. For some reason, UGA is one of the last schools to let anyone know anything, which is kind of annoying. But, they definitely do call your vet references in the mean time because my boss got a call about me.
Unfortunately, don't expect anything until mid-late March.
Good Luck!!!

For all UGA Hopefuls out there..I got a PM from HopefulUGACVM who was a pre-vet poster last year. She says her accept letter was different from her reject letter, which like some of us she was well aquainted. I got the impression it was greeting card sized verses the standard office long envelope. So if you got rejected last term be looking for something a little different in your mail box this year. I wish :luck: to all. And remember dont even start looking until the 3rd week in March. Til then keep your head up.
Correction: a standard letter sized envelope (ie normal piece of paper, unfolded) See post below.
