Got a letter in the mail about a week after the interview. "Thanks for interviewing" and "we have had success with candidates from your school in the past" type thing.

is that true that schools send out letters to favored candidates? or do most send out letters to all...

One of my friends who interviewed at NW got a letter in the mail too, telling her she was a very strong candidate etc.... I personally got a big fat NOTHING! my friend though has some INSANE USMLE scores. I got personalized letters from 3 programs, none of them in my top 5 though, unfortunately.... still though, nice to get.... hopefully there will be more coming :) I'm hopeful!

A PD called me on my cell phone stating that he thought I'd be a good fit. That threw me for a loop. I'd rather not say what program. I will say that it was a community program though.

I received an email from the PD this week.

I got a call from a smaller university hospital which i'm probably not gonna rank. But heard ABSOLUTELY nada from everyone else on my list. I guess I might have to pay a littel more attention to the order of my #6-#10 on my ROL cause the closer we get to 2/27, the more and more I feel I might match pretty low on my list.

Man...this is depressing!
