Where are all the Mercer acceptees???

Hi, acceptee here. I'm a CC student from Kentucky and I was accepted in Dec. but I didn't really consider myself a pharmacy student yet. Like a lot of students, it's very surreal to know that I've finally been accepted after all that work.
I think most of the acceptees are still checking out the pre-pharmacy forums for housing and financial information.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone this fall. Right now we're concentrating on finding a place to live in Atlanta. Congratulations to you Rxgirl08, see you in class in August!

Accepted! I was suprised to get pulled off the alternate list while interviews are still going on. I look forward to meeting everybody at the spring picnic.

I was also accepted and will be moving up in early August is everything goes as planned. :D I must say I'm pretty excited about it.

I have been accepted to Mercer!! I am going to move in with my brother to save money while I am in school. So, I wanted to rent my house out. It is about 30 mins away from Mercer. It has 3 bed rooms, 2.5 baths with a lake and fenced back yard. If anyone is interested, please PM me and I can send you pics. I am looking to rent it out for $1,300.

I'll be coming from out of state in the fall! Does anybody have good suggestions on apartments? I'm looking for something close to campus, safe, and nice. I'm pretty clueless about the Atlanta area, but I thinking about somewhere near Buckhead. Thanks! And congrats to you all!

It sort of all depends on your price range. From what I hear, Park Pointe North (which is right next to campus - like less than a mile) is pretty great. Aside from that, I would say go to apartmentfinder.com & use that to search using mile distance from the campus address. If you find something on there that you like, you can type the name into apartmentratings.com to read reviews on the complex. That's what I've been doing anyhow. =) When I go up to look at apartments with my roommate I'll be sure to post a list of nice apartments that I found for all of you guys.

I just got accepted! If anyone needs any help or suggestions on where to live, I'm from Atlanta so I could give you ideas on cost & neighborhood type/life in the area type stuff....and also predicted levels of traffic. Feel free to pm me :).
