Does anybody out there know much about practice opportunities in the state of Florida, either commercial or private? I'm thinking of moving there after graduation, and I know it will be difficult making contacts there since I'm attending OSU in Columbus, OH. Are there fill-in opportunities in the bigger cities in FL, and how much can you expect to make per day? Any insights would be helpful. Thanks.

I would recommend checking out the FOA site.. (florida optometric association) I'm sure they have practice listings

I've also heard the state board exam for Floria is a B!tCh!! (not that that should dissuade you in anyway in going there.. that's just what I"ve heard around campus)
