I applied to PhD programs and was excited about going, but a family emergency (health of my father) may prevent me from going. The only program that is near where my family lives is Wake Forest. Do MA programs accept late applications or post openings after April 15th on the apa website like PhD programs do? I thought about contacting someone at Wake just to ask. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. If you have a contact at Wake you could suggest, please pm me.

I wanted to say that I'm in a very similar situation for a few reasons also including the health of my father. I hope that your father's health has improved.

I bit the bullet and just started emailing people and asking and found two pretty reputable and desirable programs to still be accepting applications for masters candidates as of this week even though their deadlines were past.

I also received 3 times as many saying that they had already selected their cohort.
