On the first test #65 about the Ksp, is the answer correct? it says that the solubility product constant for Bacl2 is [Ba+2][Cl-2] but which is answers choice A. But C could be correct as well which is [Ba+2][Cl-]2?
Any idea?

C would not be correct because what dictates whether there is an exponent is the molar coefficient. If there were 2 moles of [Cl-] then you would have an exponent of 2 in the Ksp expression. Does that make sense? I don't guarantee my work of course.

BaCl2 ----> Ba ^(2+) + 2Cl^(1-)
Based on this and after balancing the equation I would say Ksp: [Ba+2][Cl-1]^2

topscore is DEFINTATLY wrong on that one. i just looked at it...
"What is the expression for the solubility product constant, Ksp, for BaCl2?"
the answer is C - [Ba2+][Cl-]^2
