Hallo! I am an IMG and I applied for an OB/GYN elective for the period August-September '08. I sent all the material needed in late January, but still NOTHING! I haven't got a response yet! Has anyone experienced anything similar? What could possibly have happened? The fact of not knowing whether I am accepted or not makes me more stressed and anxious than a possible rejection!!

It could be that the school hasn't finished their schedules for their M4s. Call the program you've applied to and see if that's the case.

I'm not even allowed to apply for an away I want in August until 2 June because that's the school's policy. The school's website says they will be busy with their M4s scheduling and similar activities up until then.
