I am scheduled to interview at Virginia Mason on December 3. They have a good website, but I have not been able to talk with any residents about life in the program. I know that the residency is famous for its regional. Still, someone else posted a note wondering how useful regional is for jobs after residency. Does anyone have any info on the program?

Hey Eli, I'm not interviewing at VM until Jan 3 so let me know how it goes. I have the same questions as you--The website is very thorough, but I haven't talked to anyone about life in the program/seattle. What I have heard--big time regional (excessive regional?), great teaching from UW staff, and well respected in academic and private circles. Heard seattle is sweet too if you can handle being wet all the time. Happy interviewing.
