Wow, so we start seeing our first patients in the exam rooms next week. It's so surreal, I don't have time to be nervous or anything. Anyway, I was just wondering how it went for others. Stories, funny things, scary things, feelings...what's it like?

My teachers say I am too hard on myself sometimes, so I was thinking that maybe if I had some perspective, I could avoid thinking that just because I don't know an answer, it doesn't mean I'm not ready for this, you know?

Haha, can't offer you any experiences because I see my first patients on Tuesday.... BUT.... one thing I can tell you to NOT do is leave your equipment bag 600 miles away at home.

Yeah, I did that. Hopefully there will be some first years hanging around town so I can borrow their Randot, Color Vision, Retinoscope, etc until my folks can mail my crap to me. Ugh, only me... this would happen to only me. :laugh:
