MI resident. Undergrad at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Graduate spring 2009.

GPA and science GPA: both ~3.5
Will be taking the MCAT this summer, but so far I'm averaging ~30. 11P, 10V, 9B.

EC: lots of volunteer work, 1 year of research, some leadership positions held, hospital volunteer for 2 years+

LOR: pretty strong.

I'm looking at these schools:
George Washington University
Rosalind Franklin
Loyola University
Tulane University
Michigan State
Wayne State
Albany Medical College
New York Medical College
SUNY Upstate
SUNY Downstate
Drexel University
Jefferson Medical College
Temple University
University of Utah
University of Vermont

Any recommendations? Any one above that I shouldn't consider? Thanks!!

FYI, Howard and Meharry are historically black colleges so they accept a large number of african americans, check MSAR for details.

Check my mdapp profile if you want to add more middle tier schools.
