Alright guys, I am in a pretty bad situation right now. I have about six W's on my transcript over the course of four years. Out of the six, only one is from a science class. others are from classes like philosophy, intro to sociology, world lit, foreign cultures, ppl of the world: latin america. i dropped out of foreign cultures and ppl of the world, because my hypothyroidism had made it impossible for me to undertake a 18 hr semester. other than that i have pretty solid gpa, 3.8, two publications, shadowing experience, initiated project downtown (where we feed homeless people, get to know them and help them out basically), i am going to be a counselor with crisis center : suicide help line. I am really worried about the w's though, how bad do you guys think it is going to affect my chances?

If you are not lying about your stats then you will be fine as long as you do well on the MCAT and explain the W's in your essays and during your interviews.
