Hey everyone,
I am a Canadian medical student and most likely will be writing the USMLE next summer. I am pretty unfamiliar with the whole process since most people up here don't write it. I've read the website so I know about the technical and administrative details of the test. However, I wanted to know how good Kaplan is from those who have used it and written the test. I understand that individual's experiences may vary, however, for those who have used Kaplan a few words would be much appreciated.
I'm just trying to get a general sense of what's out there and what the best way to study for this is. Is it like the MCAT or is it pretty straight-forward (and by that I don't mean easy...just no tricks from left field)? Judging from the practice questions, they seem straight forward and test the material we learn in class, but are those actually representative?
Thanks.
