I'm doing my undergrad in Canada and my school doesn't offer a specific Communication Disorders major. I've chosen the Honours Life Science major, which is extremely general and allows you to pick any course you want.
Is a specific major important for grad school admissions? I thought grad schools mainly looked for GPA, GRE, pre-requisite courses, letters of rec and personal statements. Do they also look at the major you took?
Do grad schools give you an opportunity to catch up with prerequisite courses if you haven't completed all of them?
Any help is much appreciated.
