Why Kaplan midterm is so hard?

How do you guys think about this test?

I usually got 22 on QR but I got 16 on this one. I never got lower than 20

on QR section. Number used for Question were insane.

Also, science sections were hard.

Anybody experienced this?

Yes. I didn't do very well on QR either on the midterm. It did seem like the questions asked took a bit of time. I had to guess on quite a few at the end. This test, however, did teach me to skip around for the QR section. There are many ??'s that are quick.. and others that are long. If you save the long ones till the end, you will get a better score because each question is worth the SAME!

Overall, I did think QR was hard but I am not sure how it compares to the real DAT as I have not taken it yet.

I'm taking the Kaplan mid-term tomorrow... so I'll let you know if it's hard! I've read that they make it hard to make you study more. I know if I score low on Kaplan then I will study like crazy!

Don't get overconfident after taking the Kaplan Final, you will go up +2 or +3 (on AA) from what you normally getting from Kaplan. The bio from final is extremely easy to be specific.
I also had trouble with Kaplan midterm...I don't know why but I ended up guessing through the last 10 after narrowing it down to 2 or 3 answers.

Ughh so I got a little behind last night, so I don't think I'll be taking the midterm today. But I will pm you as soon as I get my scores! I'm not hoping for much... I mean, to this point the online course only goes through 1/4 of the biology section, a little over half the gen chem, and 1/4 of the ochem. It goes through a lot of math, RC, & PAT... buut... Anyways, my diagnostic was 16/17/17 - TS/AA/PAT. Not very good!!
