If 1 cubic cm=0.61 in^3, approximately how many cubic cm are there in 1 cubic foot.
This is how I did...Please tell me where I go wrong.
(61/100)in^3 x 1ft^3/(12x12x12)in^3 which brings it to 1054 ft^3
This is a right solution?
Please correct me. I thought I was right, the answer is not there!

Does it give the answer 2832 cc? They are asking for how many cc in one cubic foot, not the other way around...

To solve this you set up a dimensional analysis.
(ft^3)*(12^3in^3/ft^3)*(2.54^3cm^3/in^3)
Multiply out to get 28316.8, which roughly equals 28300 cubic Cm.

Could you explain where you get 2.54 from? I thought we just need to divide the 12^3 by 0.61...and the answer would be 2830.
I just don't see the 2.54.. Maybe I'm missing something
Thanks

You should not have done it that way, its just that i knew that 2.54cm=1in. So i just calculated withut using their conversion of Cm to In.
