I've got some stipend money left over this year and some conference days left over, and I'm looking for a conference to attend.

I'm actually debating whether I want something like The difficult airway course since I'm interested in critical care, or if I should stick to something else. I'm leaning more towards educational then just a straight beach holiday conference, at least for this year.

what courses have others attended and what would you recommend?

I don't know anyone who has attended ACCP's difficult airway course, but Chest (Philly in October) and ATS (San Diego next May) are great meet-and-greets for critical care, and always have some interesting and informative things going on. Like any HUGE conference, it takes some work to separate the crowded stuff that is of no use to you from the sessions that you can really get something out of, but if you're into critical care you would probably enjoy either one.
