Why does destroyer #50 say that ATP production does not need light in plant photosythesis?-- isn't it called photophosphorlation for that exact reason?

Photophosphorylation happens during the light reactions in photosynthesis, and yes ATP is produce; but this amt. of ATP is small in comparison to the amt of ATP produced from the glucose that they synthesize. Remember the whole point of photosynthesis is to produce glucose (aka reduce CO2).

isn't photosynthesis a endergonic rxn meaning that ATP is mostly used up to make glucose considering ur going from CO2 + H20 --> GLUCOSE + O2

so u won't be producing much ATP in comparison to the large amt that is being used to make glucose right?

so where is the ATP produced--- in the chloroplast?
