First, I want to say thankyou to EVERYONE here on this forum. It helped me out a Ton!!!!!!
I have not taken a science class in 2 years, and have been working full time while studing for this (about 3 months).
Score was not quite as high as I was hoping, but hopefully other things will make up for it. I finished my entire Masters (MBA) In 1 year with a 3.5 gpa and working 30 hrs per week. (hopefully that will show that I can handle the work load)
Oh well. Im applying to UT in Memphis (TN resident) and they have average acceptances around 18 I think. LLU in Cali, I know lots of people out there, so that should help. Nova in Tampa (im orginially from FL and want to go back) Maybe Alabama...not sure where else
So I did better in the sciences than my practice tests, but worse in PAT and RC....
Bio---Kind of random, but not as hard as I was expecting. I had to guess on a few. I reviewed Kaplan BB, Barrons AP Bio (some) and Notes from a few people here :). and top score tests
GChem-Some calculations and some perceptual. I have always sucked at Gchem. I really wanted an 18 in this section, but will settle for a 17 because I suck at it. Used kaplan BB and topscore tests
Ochem--Pretty strait forward. only one or two I had never seen before. used Kaplan BB and topscore tests
QR-- Hard! too many questions and too little time. like everyone else said. used kaplan and top score tests. there is not much i can say for preparing. unless you are a gifted math genious, it is hard becase of lack of time; not that the problems are terribly difficult.
RC-- Im really dissappointed with my score. Lucky I did not get frapped or piano passage (Thanks for the prayers). I spent to much time on the second passage and then ran out of time with like 8 or 9 questions to go on the third. Was getting 21, 22, 22 on Top Score tests so a little dissappointed. Kaplan and topscore
PAT--Really dissappointed :( I used CDP and Top score. my last 2 CDP tests were 20 and 22. so I was hoping to be in that range
so here are the scores:
PAT 18
QR 16
RC 19
BIO 19
GC 17
OC 21
TS 19
AA 18 (18.4 but rounded down to 18 :(
Overall, I am happy with my sciences, but wish my Pat had been 20+ and RC should have been 21+
What do you guys think? I know lots of people here on SDN score well into the 20's, but that is much higher than the average applicant and SDN is a small sample of lots of smart-hard studying people.
I do not plan on a retake, what do you guys think? If I do need to retake, I could not take it until Oct 31. Thoughts?
