Hi all,
I'm looking for some information about the current GW and Georgetown Internal Medicine programs, hopefully from people who are actually in those programs now! I'm not looking for a GT vs. GW debate. I'd just like to know a little more about them in terms of their quality of teaching, environment, resident happiness, fellowship matching, etc. I would really like to move to DC for residency but need more info. Any help would be great!!!

Aqua,
just in case you don't hear anything from current residents, you can always contact the secretary of the program director. They have all this information on file (residency programs always divulge this info on interview days so it is easily available). Contact them, and they will email it to you...
Good luck

yeah but my concern is that the program directors won't/can't be objective in describing the quality of teaching or how happy the residents are. i'm sure they do have lots of great information and i will contact them, but i was hoping maybe people on this forum might have some insight.

People keep asking this question about hospitals. But there isn't an easy answer to this question. It's not like medical schools where you can look up average MCAT scores. You should already know what USMLE scores are competitive and what scores are uncompetitive.

You can contact the program director's and just ask what the average step I score is for their residents...

I'd be interested in people comments on this issue. I'd love to hear from current residents from either program. Thanks.
