I am going through crack PAT and i am doing well on all the section except the angle......

I took 4 test i got 19/21/21/22 but my angle scores are like 10/9/8/7...

It's going down.. when i do the 2500 bonus angle stuff i would say i am doing ok.. but in the test i am doing so bad...

I saw few post using your finger. i haven't tried it yet because i am also hearing you are not suppose to do that in real DAT.. is this right?

Any advise for angle???

anyone???

angles is all luck imo. There are days when I get 14/15 on angles and there are days Ill get 8/15. Just pray that your guesses are on target the day of the real dat.

On the real DAT its always going to come down to 2 angles, obviously, and almost everytime they are probably only going to be a couple degrees larger or smaller than the other.

What I do for the angles is I only look at the angle specifically (in your mind try to cut out the extra parts of the segment so that you are comparing 2 angles with equal segments). To me if you look at the whole angle, the variation in the lengths of each segment messes with your perception.

After staring back and forth repeatedly (almost like you're blurring your eyes to concentrate on the two angles you cut in your mind) at the angles you should be able to tell that one of them is slightly smaller than the other.

I dont know if this method will work for anyone else, but it sure helped me. I close to never missed an angle question during my practice tests.

Hope this helps.

I never used CDP, but from what I remember, the real PAT was generally easier than topscore and acheiver PAT. However, the angles section was actually harder on the real test because like I said, the angle difference could be by only 2 degrees sometimes. I had to stare at the angles a lot longer than usual.

My friend told me that you are not allowed to touch the computer monitor.

in terms of touching the screen, take a look at this http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=547047&highlight=touching+the+screen

some people said they asked and the proctors said they were allowed to touch.
