On the first achiever test, they asked us to identify the name of a particular type of reaction (i think it was # 98 in orgo and the answer was claisen). For those of you that have taken the DAT, have you ever been asked for specific names of reactions???

I have seen seperation questions on practice test... its not that hard though.... Just know what when a acid is extracted with a base, it will go into the aqueous layer, and vice versa.

if you have the destroyer i think the answer to orgo #151 explains it pretty well

assuming yes :(

i am thinking of ordering destroyer...

i have about a month till my DATs

It would be great if these questions can be answered.

1. Should you purchase one if you only have like 2-3 weeks to work on the book?

2. Do the questions on the real DAT reflect whats on destroyer?

i haven't actually taken it yet but i've only had my destroyer for 2 weeks and i'm already going through it for the second time..its definitely something you need to have. and based on all the other posts i have read, it really does help with questions on the DAT.

but for those of you who have taken the test already..can you answer the questions above? names, methods, glassware??
