Considering that u are an average student with a 251 i think u should expect to scramble and be prepared for years of improving your cv before even attempting to match. If you were a good student with a 251 things would be totally different. :rolleyes:

I'm interested in this as well, it seems like most students who have a high step 1 also do really well and at least get some honors some where. In last year's match thread it seemed like AOA was a much more helpful factor than step 1 overall.

Your score of 251 will certainly not get you rejected from any good program!

Shucks with a 252, you might have been a legitimate candidate for a lot of really solid programs!

I heard the University of Guadalajara might be accepting family medicine residents. It's probably worth a shot, even though it's unlikely.
